Windows are responsible for nearly 25-30% of heat gain and loss in your home. Efficient windows that are properly installed can help save on home heating and cooling costs and ensure exterior moisture stays outside.     

New construction windows are used in new construction homes or higher end remodeling jobs. They typically have an exterior flange that gets nailed to the sheathing and sealed for weatherproofing. They are available in wood, aluminum or vinyl clad wood, or viny and can vary in style and price range. 

Replacement windows are often the least involved and least expensive way to replace your existing window sashes. These new units, typically of vinyl construction, will slide into the existing window frame up the the existing interior trim. Small gaps around the exterior are sealed with insulation and professionally caulked in or trimmed out with PVC trim.
